I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
